Ticking Clocks is a micro-RPG about doomed characters fighting for their last chance at salvation.

It’s a game about pushing on till the bitter end, and keeping hope.

You play as a party of Doomed aventurers, all sure to face horrific ends — whether by death, or something worse. Together, you search for an item which could save you all. A last desperate reach for salvation.

Features

  • The core rules fit on a single A4 page.
  • Has extensive random tables for character and scenario generation.
  • Character creation and scenario prep are extremely quick, requiring only a few rolls.
  • Every decision you make brings you closer to your end. Make your choices wisely.
  • Includes a printer-friendly booklet version.
  • No character sheets necessary. Any scrap paper is enough.

To put together the booklet version, print it out double sided (not in booklet mode; the pages are already formatted correctly for a booklet layout) then fold the pages in half and staple them together along the spine.

Ticking Clocks was made for Clock Jam, organised by Cosmic Orrery Games and Nakade.

Ah, I'm looking forward to the printer-friendly booklet version! :)  I'm so excited to try it!

Ahh I'm sorry about the delay on that. My life became unexpectedly hectic recently and I had to put all RPG work temporarily on hold. Hopefully I should have more free time soon though, and knowing that there's actual demand for it will definitely help with my motivation, so thanks for taking the time to comment! :)
